Gold Coast-based builder Hallmark Homes (QBSA 23846) has moved to capture a share of the higher-end market. Sales Manager Anthony Gilbertson said they were releasing the Vogue Collection as part of a carefully considered plan to expand their design offering. “The key characteristics of the range include modern, rendered frontages and extensive exterior features, while the interiors include the most up-to-date design features and finishes,” he said.
The collection starts at $105,900 for a 138.5sq m home, ranging up to $147,900 for a 253.9sq m home, and includes 11 designs. Under-main-roof patios with concrete floors come as standard, with many of the plans also incorporating media rooms. Mr Gilbertson said it was an affordable way for new homebuyers to add value to the land they built on. “There is a tendency for affordable homes to conform to a very similar look and style, which I believe will be an issue when it comes time to sell,” he said. “Our new designs have been created to stand out from the homogenous designs that permeate new housing estates, while delivering value for money and eventually a good return on investment.”
The company is running a promotion during the Vogue Collection’s introductory period. Customer’s buying a house from the range will have a one-in-50 chance to have it built free.
“We’re fully aware of the fact that this year is going to see some significant competition right across the sector,” Mr Gilbertson said. “We want to create a major point of difference for our company and we see this two-pronged attack as an important way to do this.”
